The Templeton family has run Business in York since 1959 with the start of Wiseheaven Pool and Tennis center by Dan I who also ran for Mayor at one point. Then the Banquet Hall for weddings an events started by Dan II Templeton in 1973 and then sold in 1989. Now Ran by Mike Park.

In 1997 Dan III my father started his own automotive service business in Felton which was him following his passion in the Automotive field while his wife- Angeleque already had her own Salon Business becoming a mother she also was working at the garage. They lived above the garage with their 3 kids.

With a growing family and the lack of ability to allow complacency to enter their lives my Parents built their own house in Penn Oaks. It was a Longer building process due to doing most the work themselves after the workday in Felton. In 2004 Our family moved back to York!

2011 The next endeavor came with the start of Salon Blu and a Second Automotive Shop. Using the old horse barns on the property another garage was opened to service the community. The Salon was designed to make Penn Oaks and East Prospect look as Beautiful as it made it’s clients. Winning many Awards, holding many delightfully exciting events and becoming a pillar of East Prospect Road. However, like all good mothers, Angeleque sold the Business in 2015 to focus on Family.

Now:

Her First-Born Son: Tyler runs the Garage shop with His father and has recently had a great blessing of his son that even as a baby loves his machines and tractors.

Her Daughter: Jordyn is successful in being a Hairstylist

Then I, the Older Twin Brother of Jordyn.

I am continuing the trend, following my Love of Building whilst running my own Business in my Hometown to enhance the Homes of my people. Using Modern Knowledge while Respecting and Understanding Traditional Skills & Practices.
